Hello, I am Galia de la Garza, Mexican visual artist, born in Mexico in 2003, I am currently 17 years old. Drawing has been my passion since I was a child and it has formed a large part of my life; through which I can express myself and feel free, opening a window to my imaginary world; It is there where I find a calm environment, based on feelings and emotions, where there are no mistakes, only transformation through different materials. My wish is to make my work known and to be able to motivate people to develop their artistic side to get out of the real world for a while and explore their imagination, the freedom to create figures with a pencil, the variety of colors that you can form with just three tones, the transmission of feelings and happiness that you can cause in other people.

 

For me, art is a window through which I can express my feelings, experiences and thoughts in a creative way. It has helped me process my ideas in a way that I could never do with words. I have always felt the attraction to draw the human figure, animals, nature and portraiture, a preference that can be seen in my personal projects, which I share on my social networks such as instagram and facebook, which help me share my perspectives with other people.

 

I work mainly with traditional techniques, such as acrylic and watercolor, but I also handle digital drawing, trying to be in continuous evolution, researching and experimenting. As an academic training,

 

I have taken painting, drawing, engraving, illustration and digital design workshops. I am currently in my final year of high school.
